1、客厅不宜阴暗装修

客厅装修风水第一要素是光线足够，因此阳台上尽量不宜摆放太多浓密的盆栽，避免遮档光线。明亮的客厅能带来家运旺盛，所以客厅壁面也不宜选择太暗的色调。
The first element of feng shui in living room decoration is sufficient lighting, so it is advisable not to place too many dense potted plants on the balcony to avoid blocking the light. A bright living room can bring strong family luck, so it is not advisable to choose a too dark color tone for the living room wall.

2、客厅地板不宜高低不平

客厅地板应平坦、不应有过多的阶梯或制造高低的分别。有部分客厅采用高低层次分区的设计，使地板高低有明显的变化，因此家运也会因地板的起伏而多坎坷。

3、客厅不可成为动线

客厅是聚集旺气的地方，应要求稳定，不应将客厅规划在动线内，使人走动过于频繁。客厅设在通道的动线中，容易使家人聚会或客人来访受到干挠。否则将影响住宅主人的事业和人际关系。

大楼住家其大门不可以正对电梯门，正对造成冲射不利财运，住户容易得患疾病。

5、大门不可直线对窗、后门或厕所装修

门和窗户是理气进出屋内的开口，大门不可与窗、后门连成一直线，形成前后门相穿，使理气穿堂直出、不能聚集于屋内，因此财富无法结集，所以谓之退财。厕所是提供人们排泄的空间，本质并不乾净，所以大门也不宜直对厕所。大门直对厕所会使理财投资出错，使人财进财出，损害家人的财运。

6、客厅不宜乱挂猛兽图画客

厅如悬挂花草、植物、山水或是鱼、鸟、马、白鹤、凤凰等吉祥动物，通常较无禁忌。但假如您有悬挂龙、虎、鹰等猛兽的爱好，则需要特别留意将画中猛兽的头部朝外，以形成防卫的格局，而千万不可将猛兽之头部向内威胁自己，否则容易为家人带来意外灾祸。

假如客厅塞满古董、杂物和装饰品，容易堆积灰尘，影响气流畅通，当然容易使人气血不顺，健康衰败。
